About Conal Tuohy

I'm one of the organisers of the THATCamp Melbourne. If you have questions about the event (including particularly the Data Challenge event), feel free to ask. I'm an eResearch Analyst at VeRSI (Victorian eResearch Strategic Initiative). At the moment I working on (amongst other things) an archaeological database development project at La Trobe University. In the past I've done a lot of work in the area of Text Encoding (TEI) and also with ISO Topic Maps (a kind of knowledge representation technology). I'm a coder; I've done lots of development in different environments, particularly in Java and XSLT. I'm into XML in a big way.
